I was glad that YesRx was able to provide a very important medication that I needed daily. I was worried if I couldn’t get it due to insurance issue at the time.
I am thankful for the program being there in a time of need.
— Patient in Michigan

YesRx is proud to help clinicians provide no-cost cancer medication to patients in Michigan, and provide support for people to donate their unopened cancer medication to patients in need.

Whatever it is, sharing your experience can make all the difference in the experience of others.

Sometimes people with cancer have a hard time getting the medication they need. Every story is unique to each person. Perhaps by sharing your experience with YesRx, you will enable others to see themselves, feel supported, and experience similar relief.

We were playing the waiting game. It was not a game we wanted to play. Waiting for tests to be scheduled. Waiting for a diagnosis. Waiting for more test results. Waiting to see a doctor and get an understanding of what we were dealing with and what to expect. By the time all the test results were in and we finally got to see an oncologist, we were afraid it was too late to receive treatment. WE DIDN’T HAVE TO WAIT!!! The YesRx program allowed my mom the opportunity to start on her medication just 2 DAYS after her appointment! We were told it would take weeks to get pre-approval from the insurance company or a medication grant. This program made it possible for her to start treatment immediately, before the cancer progressed any further. We cannot thank YesRx and the people who donate their cancer medication enough!!! You may have just saved my mother’s life!

With YesRx, I was able to get a patient with newly diagnosed metastatic EGFR NSCLC on the medication they needed within 5 days. They otherwise had a cost-prohibitive copay and no assistance was possible due to alternative insurance. Without YesRx, they would likely have to wait a month before obtaining the drug. This is a MUCH needed program for our oncology patients that optimizes their care!

YesRx allowed my patient to not have a break in therapy when an issue arose with copayment funding.  It was a seamless process!  I requested medication on Monday and it arrived at my door on Wednesday in time for me to provide it for free to my patient.  It is not often as an oncology social worker that I can facilitate something so critical for a patient in such a short time period. Thank you, YesRx!

Our patient was applying for grants to help with her medication cost, the prescription she needed right away would have cost her $1,100. Thank you, YesRx!

Our patient was so thankful to get started on their treatment with help from YesRx. This was our first time using the cancer drug repository program and we are so happy to know how simple the process is for patients.
— Clinician in Bay County
Our patient started radiation therapy and needed concurrent medication that required a prior authorization. In just a few days YesRx helped our patient receive the medication they needed to get started.

YesRx has allowed patients with a variety of access barriers to start medication within days. YesRx has also given people with extra, expensive medications the satisfaction of donating unused medication and knowing their supply will help other people with cancer.
